Finished up my 6011 eBay special
I found this 6011 and rolled the dice, it looked like it could have been ran but the chassis pics looked spotless. It was listed as never being finished due to a broken bolt. Here are the auction pics
Oh, forgot to mention it came with an Airtronics XL2P new in box also
Anyway, Here it is when I received it, I found the broken bolt- the thrust bolt how it broke I have no idea.
And after some soap and water (didn't even have to scrub, just put in the ultrasonic)
Some of the update literature included
Almost finished up, just needs electronics
After electronics and body (thanks Marlo!)

turned out nice, jeff.
i've always liked the late 6 gear/early stealth C.E.'s. something with the little bit of contrast from the black shock caps and green springs against all of the gold and white..... i just like it. i've only ever had one really nice one though, and more than a few that had seen better days. i built stacks of them at the hobby shop back in the day....

+1! I built so many in the shop back in the day I could probably build one blind without any trouble. Still, I see fewer of these it seems than the 6010's even though they made so many of em for so long. I'm very happy to have this one to fit between my 6010 new build and my controversial late 6035 all black Team carscr8p wrote:turned out nice, jeff.

I think there's more than just us!
I bought a wing lot a while back hoping I struck gold. They were all 6"ers

Re: Finished up my 6011 eBay special
I nabbed a NIP #6182, (removed from kit) complete with wing wire/buttons, from e-bay a few months ago, for next to nothing....it was perfect for my Worlds kit. They're out there!

Re: Finished up my 6011 eBay special
I could always nab a new one and pretend it was original I guess
