I only use my shop compressor for airbrushing, regulate the air down to what you need and also use it for what ever else you want to run the rest of the time.

Sleeps with a night light on, not because he's scared of the dark but because the dark is scared of him...........stay thirsty my friends

I have a ton of lexan to paint and need to get a good airbrush. I'm lookng for what you guys are using. I want internal mixing so I believe that is a 2 stage or dual stage...something like that. I've heard good things about badger and the LHS...

I've recently purchased an airbrush compressor, with a few airbrushes, tips, hoses, etc. And, since the weather here in WI is less than adequate to paint outdoors, I'm looking to get ideas on how I can set something up in my basement utility room....

My station is temporary, and easy to put up and take down as needed. Most everything just gets thrown inside it, and then it gets thrown under a table. The top of the cabinet is my charging station most of the time.

Recently started airbrushing and using proline… it scratches off inside very easy. I’ve noticed others have had similar experience even after backing the paint in a Rustoleum or krylon clear. Anyone else using a brand different than proline and had...

Acrylic paints are quite soft when dry and easily scratched as a whole , the only solution is to put a final coat of a more durable paint on to back it .
I'm moving over to Acetone based paints but you really need to use a fume extraction paint...

I'm having problems getting my airbrush to spray paint or even water for that matter. Its fairly clean and has worked before with no problems. I'm running it at about 40 psi. Any thoughts on whats going on?

Nevermind. I got it figured out. I think that the needle wasn't seated right in the nozzle.

I purchased an air brush some ten years ago for the Testors acrylic model paints. I think I may have used it once since I bought it until the last few months. So far I have painted at least two RC10 bodies and one Stampede body with Parm FastColor...
