jrx2 part number on the losi 22

Post by clm »

Well I will be a monkeys uncle.. not sure who that monkey is but... The losi 22 still lists one part from way back in the jrx2 days on it's standard parts list... The antenna holder! Though it looks like it just uses the antenna with its cap at the end! lol

Long live Losa4002!

Ha! I didn't even notice that.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Yeah noticed this a while back when starting the new 3D printed version.
I swear they didn't include the holder around a year ago. So part of me wants to believe it is a sign they are remaking the JRX2. But far more likely is someone who doesn't know anything about a4002 ordered up more of a4002 for the warehouse and thought they are supposed to have the holder. There is no way the tube and the end cap come from the same supplier as the injection molded holder. So they had to go out of their way to get the holder.

Of course could be they just found a bunch of the holders in a warehouse and decided to get rid of them this way.

Who knows? But it would be interesting to know the logic behind it.

All I can say is.... too bad they are only black, I need some of the red rings that clip on the top of the antenna holder for some of my cars :)
