My Other TRX-1's
Here are a few pics of my other TRX-1 builds. One is almost complete. Still looking for parts to finish up.
Re: My Other TRX-1's
Looking good, I wish Traxxas would get back to these competition buggies and trucks of days past. My interest in Traxxas died the day they stopped production.

There are the white versions of the TRX-1s. Great Builds. You and the elusive dust covers.
I'm watching and asking around for TRX-1 parts. Good luck on your searches.

Re: My Other TRX-1's
No body's yet. I will get some for all of them as some point. I have not raced any of them as they are too rare. Plus there's no place to race where I live.

How could you possibly be done with the TRX-1's when you dont have a single body nor have actually used any of them?rctodd1624 wrote:No body's yet. I will get some for all of them as some point. I have not raced any of them as they are too rare. Plus there's no place to race where I live.

Re: My Other TRX-1's
I gotta say, the TRX-1 is the most impressive buggy I've tried since racing a FT B4. Never happened, but I honestly felt I could take it to the track and compete with the B4's and XXX's. I had a TRX-1 and TRX-3 and didn't really feel too bad about selling the 3 last year, but still regret getting rid of all the TRX-1 stuff.
First time I ran either buggy was 2012.

Re: My Other TRX-1's
The bodies are readily available by TBG so they're no big deal in comparison to the other parts needed to build these cars. These things are too rare to use as far as I'm concerned. It has taken me many many months to gather the stuff the build them.

Isn't there a non-rare alternative like using black or used parts just to put together a racer that represents the functional aspect of the TRX-1?

Re: My Other TRX-1's
there is that alternative but some of the guys around here that have some of the most impressive cars never have run them. Some are builders only I guess. Gotta agree though that I have a hard time running some of my vintage stuff but I still do...just not that hardBMKTW2 wrote: Isn't there a non-rare alternative like using black or used parts just to put together a racer that represents the functional aspect of the TRX-1?
