My losi XXT runner
I bought this XXT on ebay a while ago from a chap in London called John Secchi (funnily enough) who had used it to race. Its a great fun drive in its current configuration with the trinity monster horsepower motor and tekin esc. It came with the original box and a pile of spare wheels/tyres and other parts.
All i have added are the nice shiny cvd's to match the shiny motorplate, pink puretech straps and a set of fluoro yellow rod ends which i think go with the gaudy bright shell! I have a nice new shell i purchased from dms racing in the uk and some spare wheel discs to spray but i havent gotten round to this. I actually really like the checkered wheel discs that are currently fitted and the body. Both have really grown on me from when i first purchased the truck.

Looks good Dan, those disks are CRAYZEE!
I like the mk1 motor plate, if only I could find a NIP one of those
Oh, and some yellow pure tech straps!
Looks like a good runner, enjoy!

Thanks guys. Yeah the discs are pretty psychedelic, they remind me of beetlejuice.
Not sure if they are the same as the old ones tho.
Unless you blink rapidly they look pretty much grey at speed!Charlie don't surf wrote:The wheel disks are a trip! They just look grey at speed though right?
You can get these yellow ones on the puretech site?jamin wrote:Oh, and some yellow pure tech straps!

Re: My losi XXT runner
Love those disks!! Which reminds me I've got to get the disks painted up ready for those wheels you sent to me
The bodyshell too somehow reminds me of a stick of Blackpool rock with all though blended colours!
I think i'll have to get myself some of those PureTech battery straps for my New-Build XX - as I had yellow straps on my origina XX Bitd - although I think they were Fastrax or Trick-Bits branded items?

As for the puretech straps i really like them but be careful which size you order as mine are slightly too big.
