How I spent my Fathers day/Birthday.

Post by biff85ta »

I got some friends together and had some races on my backyard track. I got a chance to get try out easy laps free webcam based lap counter and was disappointed to say the least. We did have some good races by using laps free and manually keying the cars. It did however mean one of us had to sit out to run the race but there was at least one of us who did not have a car for each class. We got the kiddos to marshal and had a blast.

Here are some pics. I wish I would have got some action shots but I forgot about the camera cause I was having fun.

Oh and one more just cause I like this shot.

Looks like fun! Nice looking track you got there, too!

Did you try that lap counter that uses color-coding to keep track of the cars? So it wasn't that great? I was thinking about giving it a try last year but never did.

I think it would work if I took a bunch of time to mess with the settings but keying it worked as well and we where ready to do some racing.

Awesome way to spend a day! I always forget to get photos when we run, as I am having more fun running with the kids and just space it.

On Father's Day we went to look at new campers... a close second. ;)

It was a blast. If you are interested I can drop you a line the next time I put something like this together.
