New XXX-4 Chassis Build is Finished

After my little hiccup with the turnbuckles, I finished the XXX-4 chassis. I kept the stock turnbuckles on the rear for now.
Next project up is to finish cleaning a YZ-10 (US).

I am curious what the main difference between the two chassis's is? I know the wheel base is different but like the XX4 (extra 1/2 that can be noticed when checking between the servo mount and reciever mount or cuts between the cell punchouts )...

I've been a bit lazy recently, not built much apart from some cars which I've put up for sale.

So one car which was obviously missing from my collection was an on road vehicle, I've only ever had off road.

I thought I'd get started on a XXX-S,...

I have mixed emotions about the alloy arms, and even more about the alloy body posts. For bling, yes (although it looks a bit traxxas-ish). For running, don't even think about it :mrgreen:

Well, some of the spy shots of the older Mid motor vintage stuff (and the newer X Factory stuff) got me thinking I could make one of these.

Got a Speed-T off eBay for 143$ shipped....DSM radio, Brushless motor\ESC, etc...the whole thing....gotta...

Took this out the street to play a bit...as it was 60o today. Damn, it's silly fast on just a 7.4v LiPo. I can be at 60% throttle going down the street, punch it and it gets all squirly trying to get traction again.

(Bottom side belt tunnel is very unnecessary. so demount the front and rear diff covers sufficient to replace...
