Turbo Optima Mid Special addict!
Well, call me greedy but now I have a Runner, Shelfer and NIB Turbo Optima Mid Special.....I think that's all I need!
Here's a pic of the runner and shelfer together, I just need to fit the roll bars and am waiting for my W-5031 rears to arrive for the back of the shelfer:

Thats quite a list!
Let me know when you get a chance to get a postage price on that battery
I have 99% new parts here to complete the following, some already built some not, some will be 100% standard and some modified but all bar the modified Mid will be box art
Optima Mid (will have lots of polished aluminium parts)
Turbo Optima Mid (want to build 100% original just need a genuine body set)
Turbo Optima Mid SE-X (my next build, long explanation on this one!)
Optima Mid Custom
Optima Mid Custom Special (just need to finish body parts which are all original and its done)
Turbo Optima Mid Special (the one I built recently)
Turbo Optima Mid GT (the name I have given for my very modified Optima Mid I have most parts for this but the specs are constantly evolving)
There are also Lazers ....
Lazer ZX (as seen on Oople)
Lazer ZX-R (box art and all new parts but may be a mix of MKI, II and R-R seeing as they all have the same shell I'm not going to build all variants)
Lazer ZX-R Carbon Tub car (this one will be a runner, the tub is secondhand but all other parts are new or rare James is helping me big time with this project)
And a ZX-S will be in the mix somewhere
Also want to do a rear engined Optima but not sure which model or how impossible they are to build, I have a mint front skid plate, gearbox cases and bumper but thats it at this stage
I think I need a 2WD but not sure which, I am leaning towards a Ultima Pro XL at this stage
I don't have enough space to display them all at this stage!

Re: Turbo Optima Mid Special addict!
Brilliant!
Displaying them is an issue for me too - they're currently on some very unattractive racking in a room here - no idea what I'm going to do when we move back to the UK into our small 3 bed house.....I'll worry about that when the time comes.
Regarding the battery, sorry I've been away with work and haven't had the chance to weigh it yet but you may have noticed that my eBay listing for the Turbo Ultima only includes 1 battery
Cheers,
Dan

Re: Turbo Optima Mid Special addict!
Nice twins! I'm not one to have 2 or more of the same thing, mind you...I have 3 Optimas and none of them are even remotely similar, about as far from box-art as you can get, and a Turbo Optima Mid SE project that's only going to be RWD.
Completed projects: CYANide Onroad Optima | Zebra Gold Optima | Barney Optima | OptiMutt RWD Mid
Gallery - Coel's Stalls: Marui Galaxy & Shogun Resto-Mods | FrankenBuff AYK Buffalo | 1987 Buick GNX RC12L3

Re: Turbo Optima Mid Special addict!
If you have any 7.2V stick pack with tamiya connector lying around can you weigh it for me? Then i'll just add a bit for the box, as long as it's under 500g I can send with Aramex.
