please can you show me how do you install the rear wing, and what wing mount are you using.
thanks in advance.
I got the idea from another member on this forum. Essentially, I am using standard RC10B4.1 wing mounts. Screw them into the shock tower, which BTW, mine are from RC Carbon Works and they come with holes already drilled into them. I just used on of the holes for each wing mount. The bottom of the wing mount will rest on the stealth tranny brace. This is where it doesn't look too professional, but it works for me. I then cut a hole in the back of the body to allow for the wing mounts to pop through.
Hope that this helps.
I am glad that you like the build. I am really digging these projects.
mmmmmmm...
I was thinking do the same but I believe if I drill a hole on the metal housing of the plate of the tranny and past true the holes frm the wing mount with a piece of metal tubing as a spacer its gone make it stronger ..... my 2 cent.
im on the process and I have the carbon tower as your but shorter version -3 mm im gone lower the body as much I cant to make it look sleeker like the new b4 also I try a b4 body and I cant make it look nice too will see later on hope everyone like it!!!!!!
im using v2 shock from b4 longer frt shorter back.
The overall plan is to incorporate a mix of classic, world's, aftermarket and vintage parts

Do you find that the dhawk rear bulkhead stiffens up the rear end of the chassis? The nylon bulkhead allows some flex in the rear, so curious if the aluminum bulkhead solves that.
Since this is the first and only RC10 I've ever built, I am unable...
Here are some pictures of my current RC10 project. I'm building it like the one I had as a kid, but with some upgrades that I couldn't afford back then. 2010-09-25_17-43-21_627.jpg DSCF2614.jpg DSCF2616.jpg DSCF2680.jpg DSCF2682.jpg DSCF2686.jpg

One of the Tecnacraft rear axles can be seen in this picture.
I know it's too late to attempt to do the box art RC10 since I started just 2 years ago and collecting what's needed for the project.
Anyway, I would like to share my RC10 which is like any other RC10's here.
The car still need to be rebuilt,...

Thanks, I've kept buying that I needed for my box art project and tossed it on my bin box through the years. I was surprised I got too many of some of the items. I don't mean to be greedy just did'nt had the time to check what I already have....

That LRP is sweet. I'd love to find one someday. Novak Hammers seem hard to find now as well.
Hi all! Thought I would post some pix of my latest project. I have been collecting Tamiya cars for a few years and decided to make the move to RC10s. I cleaned up/painted the chassis and added Gmade XD shocks/RC10T wheels. I really like the Tamiya...

Should have commented when this thread was newer, I'm just catching up. How does the truck run? Does it make a better substitute for a blackfoot? If so, I may have to do one of these old truck conversions too.

I’d go with a full clean up first and see how it looks. Maybe better to embrace the pink as to change it you’ll be doing a lot of work.
