always check your oven first before turning it on

Post by slim_chance »

I was preheating the oven today when I smelled plastic burning. I opened the oven to discover my rc10 graphite. For some reason my youngest placed it in there. Here is what is left.

its always a good idea to check even if you are living alone. I did something similar with some dirty pans in my first apartment. i wanted them off the counter to 'clean' up the area only to fill the apartment with some rancid smoke

Sucks to have that happen though...looks like you had some nice white parts on it :(

No, put in "due to the nature of the hobby", because that is all-encompassing, and includes accidentally leaving your cars to bake in ovens at 400*F.

Actually it is a lame attempt at an april fools joke. That was actually a white bowl that she put in the oven about 3 weeks ago just thought I would use is so April fools! I kinda thought some one would pick up on the fact that the chassis was nowhere to be seen.

looked the part and I thought it was good too. Figured you'd have removed the chassis and mess before it burned down the house and that was what was left over

I was too busy watching for what Reggie was gonna do so it slipped right by me 8)
