RC-10GT Rear mount variation question
I was organizing my pile of GT spares and cleaning out some old parts when I noticed this. There are 3 variations of the rear mount for the left(opposite of spur gear) All the right sie ones I have are the same. The only difference is the area surrounding the top side of the forward hole.
Does anyone know what order they came out in?

I guess they are all the same era, they are just meant to change anti-squat
Sorry if I'm wrong, I'm a sucker when it comes to gas R/C...

Re: RC-10GT Rear mount variation question
The furthest on the right is the oldest shown. I don't know when the change happened, all my old stuff is like the one pictured on the right.
My guess is the middle started with the flat chassis, and the left was a further improvement. Man those things sucked originally. My racing GT got upgraded to the RPM as soon as they came out. And then we'd cut away the front edge to use a small 8-32 nut (further ground to clear a 67t spur on the right side) to keep them from loosening up...and use steel screws which don't expand from the heat so much.

So did AE copy the design from RPM for their newer style mounts which have the extension to support the rear bumper?

These are the newer style. Tower has the description dated at '02, these are he only ones I have ever seen on the blue flat plate trucks.
