That was posted at least once before, several months ago. It's fun to watch it again, though. :)

Well if Darryn likes it, it must be good 8)

I have watched this thing 20 times or more this afternoon... not sure what this is about it that is so f'n awesome, but I litterally have chills in the spine in the last "yeee-haaaw" slo-mo... it just looks even more real than the real thing... the way the charger squats when it hits the ramp... the "time is stopping" effect of slo-mo when General Lee flies... The trails of dust when it leaves the ramp... the original tune which is spot on... The memories of watching the TV show as a kid...

I mean... it's just perfect...

Let me go have a go at it again!

The body is from one of those cheap RC cars you could buy at Wal-Mart and was fitted to another RC car...can't recall which, but I think they say in one of those vid's descriptions...

EDIT: From the second video's comments: "Walmart General Lee, Duratrax Vendetta buggy custom stretched chassis".

Cool stuff there haha - I like the drift shot too
I believe the body is a 1/10 HPI '69 charger if I'm not mistaken
Not sure about the r/c brand itself.

Nope, that HPI body is for monster trucks. I had a look at it, the wheel-wells are HUGE and the dimensions are all wrong for a 1/10 on-road car. I wish they'd make a PROPER '69 Charger body for on-road cars, like their 'Cuda body...but alas, that HPI body is not intended for this (without some major modification, anyway).

Plus the HPI has a ridiculous protrusion on the hood. I've looked into getting a the Walmart version and I've found none.

I believe treehugger was selling one of those Wal-mart General Lee bodies ages ago...needless to say, I took a pass.
