Carbon fibre(er) veneer?

Post by 8rad »

Has anyone tried this? I have used dragon plate products before and like them. I was thinking this would be perfect for chassis restoration. Certainly more durable than film.

Back when I could afford it I bought from dragonplate. They do have some really nice looking weaves on that stuff. And have to agree...should hold up alot better than film but wonder how it is to work with. Hope someone has allready tried it...

That does look pretty awesome. I also couldn't help but notice that they're ISO 9001 certified. One of the many jobs that I don't( ) get paid for at work is being one of our ISO internal auditors. Let's see: extra work, both tedious and time consuming. Sign me up! :D :) :| :(

Very nice product, although somewhat pricey.

And, I'm an internal ISO 9001 auditor too. It's very crappy "extra" responsibility; I do about six audits a year. Next week we're also being externally audited to get ISO 17025 certification; 17025 makes ISO 9001 look like child's play. Thankfully, I won't be an internal auditor for that apsect; it takes extra-special training. Fun stuff...

Luckily since we don't do production I hope I never have to worry about any further ISO training. In fact, I plan on weaseling my way off the audit team in January.
