Re: 2011 Vonats Pro SE
I did a Pro my first year, this one is an SE. (I know, what's the diff?) Not really much, my first one was a 5 link with a graphite chassis, this one not. Schumacher was a brand I wanted to run in 4wd. Couldn't find one for a decent price, so when the YZ10 came up, I jumped on it. Actually I told him I may be running a Tamiya in 2wd buggy, a la dyna storm, but I never really wanted to shell out the cash for one of those either. Had this buggy sitting there looking at me, decided to get it going.
I've covered a bunch of manufacturers so far. Tamiya, Losi, Associated, Yokomo, Kyosho....

Re: 2011 Vonats Pro SE
I think I'm familiar with most if not all your builds on here. I'm actually with you on the building different manufacturers cars. I may never make it to the vonats, but I have an RC10, an Ultima Pro, and am working on my Losi now...all ready to race..
You could probably see some of your Ultimas influence on my build - but I didn't copy...I Promise
Are you going to do one of your pro bodies on it? Cannot wait to see what you throw down on it..

Re: 2011 Vonats Pro SE
I got a Pro SE body from Bscotti a few years back, I believe an A&L? It is very similar to the stock one. I dont plan on going too overboard on the paint, just don't have the time. Funny, we've been in a drought condition all summer long. When it comes time for me to lay some paint down, guess what. Rain.

Daryl Still carries this SE Concept body! I think they are much better than the original.Brandon G wrote:I got a Pro SE body from Bscotti a few years back, I believe an A&L? Re: 2011 Vonats Pro SE
I like all the old Losi's and would like an SE one day. Those hard coated shocks always looked the biz too
Great examples guys.
