B44 shocks
B4 rear hubs

Aluminum steering bellcrank (don't know the brand)
Waiting on:

looks good. make sure you improvise some kind of nose tubes or braces of some type. can be as simple as a couple of links tied into the steering servo mounts or something.
could use the gt brace tube supports too.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too, I have plenty of c-channel and 90deg. angled aluminum that I can do something with....
I could have used my aluminum gold tub, but didn't want to start hacking up an A stamp chassis....

I actually like the saddle packs. Using the B44 parts to secure them makes it look like they belong there.

Hey Pete,
The thing is, I wanted to use as much as I already had, so the saddle pack was the only other battery pack I had. I was going to drill into the chassis, but to my surprise the B44 battery cradles line up perfectly with the existing holes on the chassis...
I've only spent $60 on this project so far, not bad.

The easiest thing is to grab some RC10gt nose tube mounts from ebay. The are blue and will even match the other blue stuff

I thought the B44 battery cradle was 1 piece. It looks like yours is 2. Did you cut the center section out? I guess it could be a B44.1 battery cradle but where is the center piece that holds the packs apart?

Yes, they're B44.1 cradles, the center piece would not fit in the center, the packs fit really snug in there, if anything I'll just use a battery foam in there....
I might go back to using a gold pan instead, for the rigidity factor...
