I have read in the losi 22 thread about a new size LiPo battery 96mm. I checked my Sand Scorcher and this new size looks like almost a perfect fit for the radio box.

I know they are just hitting the market, but has anyone had a chance to try them in a SRB?

All kinds of 2s lipos that fit a srb. I run an electrifly 1600 20c in my sand scorcher.

Started with the basic idea of SRB, pretty much keep a tiny bit of SRB and some after market structural geometry. Plenty of custom made, CNC & hand made parts too.

Together also show my out of whack Mugen Bulldog lol ;)

So my all metal build is proving too much for the servo horn in it. My servo apparently held its own but that resulted in servo horn being stripped entirely on the inside. It was an alloy servo horn probably aluminum. I'm looking for something that...

That's pretty damn impressive...good work!
My radio has a limiting feature to set how far the servo travels...would that help your horn problems? Keep it from going so far that it strips?

I have several models on which the rear axle nuts back out during a run.
((specifically the 8-32 wheel nuts on RC10T and B3/T3 models))
((I use brushless setups on 2S - strong power, but nothing crazy))

I have tried both aluminum and steel locking...

The Jconcept nuts are like chocolate to a kid. They stick so hard I actually choose not to use them. I just buy bulk of the AE nuts and replace the rears every 3 - 4 race meets. This has worked for me for a few years racing on carpet and dirt.

Doh. :roll: Great way to profit from those leftover processor heatsinks from 10-year-old computers.

those are heat sinks for heavy duty wirewound ceramic resistors. slot car gurus used them on the massive resistors that would stick out the top of the controllers. since the resistors were hollow one...

The problem also might be a bad transmission case. I sent my transmission to AE for the same reason and they concluded that the case was the issue. It has been replaced and the transmission is on it's way back.
