I considered that, but the arms are too short. If they were 1 cm shorter, that would be perfect--but they're nearly 2 cm shorter than stock Optima arms.

Okay, I've seen some aftermarket A-arms for the Optima that were extended length, for use in a monster truck application...but does anyone know if any company made shortened A-arms & shafts, for on-road use for example?

I finally found a great off-brand upgrade for the stock Javelin/Optima/Turbo Optima rear arms. This mod is so cheap it's laughable, and will upgrade your rear control arms, dog-bones, and give you a slightly wider stance all at once.
