B2 project, what parts are prone to breaking?

Post by pastimesteve »

Hello!

I'm working on an RC10B2 project and I'm wondering what parts I should stock up on? How durable are the composite a-arms? I'm assuming the carbon composite alternate arms are more fragile, correct?

Thanks for any info!

The composite front towers are pretty fragile, find some Carbon Fiber ones for sure, and the front arms were not the best because the chassis and other components are so stiff- but both the front arms and the carbon towers are hard to locate- other than that, it's a really solid car

Thanks! I happen to have a carbon front tower that I bought off a fellow RC10talk member a while back. I'll keep it in reserve until the composite one breaks. Regarding the front arms, I have a set of composite arms on there now, but also have a set of carbon composite arms NIP.

Hopefully, I'm good to go as this will be a runner/mild basher.
