rx battery packs

Post by treehugger »

so i have been getting my rc500 together and have come up against a dilemma do i use 1/18 scale nicads or do i go for lipo and a separate BEC
i like the lipo idea because i can keep an eye on volts amps from the tx ,but they just don't go with the retro theme is there another option ?

Dry cells are about your only other option, but I would go lipo and save yourself headaches and money in the long run. You've been getting creative enough lately, just use your creativity to disguise a lipo.

Keep up the great work Paul.

well thanks for the compliment thumbs ,i just spent an hour in battery's plus and ended up with some nice 1/18 scale nihms he put the straps on with the machine and charged it to 16 bucks the same as online pricing he wanted to charge 10 bucks to do the tabs but i sold him on the car and traded a 5 min go instead once finished . i will go back at the weekend with the plug and switch and see if i can get them stamped on, save me soldering will probably have to increase my bribe to 10 minuet go LOL

i thought i would put an exciting pic up for you :?
