10T rear hub question...nose plate question added

I'm rebuilding another 10T. The rear hubs are marked only with a "0" (zero) no "L" for left. Does the 0 designate zero degrees? Are they aftermarket (RPM)?

Also, the rear suspension mounts are marked with a "3" on each. 3 degrees?

I've only ever used stock rear hubs and mounts so I'm not sure if this is a good combination.

Those are the correct rear hubs, and the 3 deg inboard mounts are good- but in most cases the truck will handle much better with the 1.5 standard mounts and the 1.5 deg rear hubs- ( they made them in both 0 and 1.5 )

I have a nose plate that is a bit out of shape. Not too bad, but enough to notice. Rather than spending $20.00 plus for a new one, is there a safe way to straighten it out? The kick up is good, it's the lower flat piece that is bent.

My only idea is to place it in a vice and massage it back into form. Any need for heat?

If anyone has a used plate in good shape, hit me up via PM. I have a few things that I could trade you for. (white battery cup, strap, 10T slipper?)

They can be re-shaped pretty easily, especially given that you have the nose brace tubes to help make sure that it is ok- the easiest way to tell is after you install and put the nose brace tubes in, put the front body mount and posts on, if they are 100% vertical you are good to go-

That's when I noticed the plate was a bit out of shape. I had to "work it" a bit so the one tube lined up to allow me to attach it to the chassis. After that, the assembly fits well. From the front, the body mounts look good and vertical but the top line of the nose plate (perpindicular to the body mounts) still looks slightly out of level. That being said, the shock tower looks good and if the posts look good too, I guess I'm okay.

No sweat, but remember- the parts were originally heat treated so there is a bit of tempering to the metal and it will want to spring back to the bent position unless you go a good amount past the bend in the reverse direction

Can't find the 1.5 degree stuff online using the old part numbers...do you have updated numbers? What modern stuff will work? Are the inboard mounts even available new anymore?

hey dude bodys ready and i have your wanted laundry list nose hubs mounts you would be best changing the nose seems pointless to be so precise on the rear to have rebent nose will be home tonight.
