sometimes those closet rescues are just as fun, mainly because they are cheaper

Cool! First time I see someone else with the truck conversion. I have one too but I really don't like it... Nice find!

The only thing I like about the truck conversion is the race prep decal on the back this will be finished off as a boostAYKBOBCAT wrote:Cool! First time I see someone else with the truck conversion. I have one too but I really don't like it... Nice find!

Re: AYK Pro Radiant rescued from a closet
I know but there was a truck conversion at one time. It could have well been made of Tamya parts though. Make sense. The front wheels have a larger axle hole to accomodate the one-way bearing. I don't know who made the body...Lowgear wrote:Nice score
Those white rims and tires look like King Cab ones.

There is a bit of information on the conversion here:

Nice score! When you say "a bunch of Tamiya buggies" what else did you get exactly?

Nothing special frogs, some grass hoppers, pan car enough to finish off the pro and call it a giftRedScampi wrote:Nice score! When you say "a bunch of Tamiya buggies" what else did you get exactly?

Thanks for the info on the conversion it looks to be complete not that I will use it but its still a part of race prep history I would probably say that J.G would be a good guess on the maker of the conversionAyk Viper wrote:There is a bit of information on the conversion here:
