AYK Pro Radiant
AYK Pro Radiant
Does anyone know if the pro radiant had a cockpit driver? I found a driver recently in my boxes of parts and I can't pin it down to any other car.
Thanks
Will send a pic if needed

Re: AYK Pro Radiant
Any photos of the driver? I don't recall my kit ever having one! But again that was 20 + years ago when I opened mine.

well....I don't believe I ever bought a driver for my car, and I have a driver I found a few months ago, with a header card still attached. I'll dig it up and snap a pic of it tonight. It was sitting on a damp basement floor under a bench, so the header card is all mangled.

There is not a driver figure listed in the pro radiant manual or shown in the body section hope this helps you.

Re: AYK Pro Radiant
OK, here are a couple pics of my AYK driver. You can see it doesn't have a part number listed, just a letter 'H', so this leads me to believe it was a kit bag.
I have some documentation that shows I bought hub bearings, some diff rebuild kits, and a spur adapter hop up part, but not a driver, so the only way I got this was being in the kit. And I looked through the manual and other papers I got, and none of them listed a driver figure.....weird!!!!

Re: AYK Pro Radiant
interesting.....I wonder if they were throwing them in boxes inconsistently. I've only ever owned one AYK product, and I guess the boxer would be a much earlier car right?

well, if everyone says there was no driver, I guess the AYK faeries dropped it off at my house.....

Re: AYK Pro Radiant
Well I have a RP Pro Radiant with a white driver NIP "H" on the header card which matchs all the other part bags? (same as in JWSCAB's pic - green AYK header card)

Re: AYK Pro Radiant
The Buffalo,Bobcat and Boxer 2wd driver figures were actually a little smaller than the ones that came with the Viper, Viper Shuttle, Radiant, Boost etc.
I have a number of the smaller 2wd figures - however the larger 4wd figures are alot harder to get.
Will see if I can get a comparison pic together for you over the next week.
Cheers
