Re: Tamiya 1:1 Sand Scorcher
WoW! They finished it... I had seen a post (maybe Tamiyaclub- not sure where) quite a while back when they first started. I remember thinking that's cool, but I wonder how far they'll take it. I'd say they took it all the way baby!! That is truly incredible.
The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Re: Tamiya 1:1 Sand Scorcher
Usually when someone makes a vehicular replica of something that was never an actual vehicle, it's never that close due to the full size counterparts not existing. But that thing from the looks of it is as close as feasibly possible and very cool!

Re: Tamiya 1:1 Sand Scorcher
They started with an original Sand Scorcher as example, he did get the first 2010 Sand Scorched from the CEO of Tamiya Germany. The tires were the hardest to get, and the original Smoothies did not have and grooves or such on them, Tamiya had added those to their replica tires. Its a pretty faithful replica. The bumper is a bit different, but many cool details, a Berg Shifter with "Sand Scorcher" etched into it, the license plate and just the wheels and tires-Awesome.
Glad you guys liked it though!

Re: Tamiya 1:1 Sand Scorcher
I would love to see a rere Wild one,Blackfoot and Blazer. they should show us the list of whats to come. I dont like the waiting game. And I am redoing a Wild one I have been working on it for a year now, I havent been able to find anything I need for it. now all of a sudden their are parts everywere. it like people are dumping their stock, I hope a Rere is on the horrizon. I will dump mine and just buy a new one.

Re: Tamiya 1:1 Sand Scorcher
That is sweet, but I think it should be considered a 10:1 scale driveable model of the sand scorcher RC. The RE-re kit is a 1:1 scorcher.
