I've got an old six gear transmission that I wanted to run in an older gold pan. It is almost all there but missing the spur gear and diff balls. I've got an 83 tooth 48 pitch spur gear from Associated/. Can I use a regular Team Associated spur that has holes in it? What size diff balls did the 6 gears take?
Thanks
Mikey

Yes, you can run a normal spur, as long as it's an 8 hole, and the diff balls would be 1/8"

Re: 6 gear rebuild
Thanks a lot! My nephew keeps crashing my car so we're gonna build him a basher out of spare parts. He's 9 and still leanring but yesterday he jumped my runner over 6 ft high!
