A dead Frog, and a Black foot for parts. Frankenstein Build
heres a frog that i wrecked way back in the day. found it in a bag while doing some cleaning. the front A arms and suspension is broken, the rear "swing arms" broke clean off. few other broken parts. the front shock tower will get put on my original blackfoot,it broke and glue just wont hold it.id like to make a bug conversion outta this pile, see how it goes though.
the black foot i just got yesterday, it has a broken swing arm on one side. im gonna strip them down, get all the parts in a pile, and then see what i can build. later on ill post pics of a frankenstein lunch box, mixed with hornet parts

Explain to me how you managed to completely break off the suspension at all 4 corners on that Frog? LOL Did you run it over with one of your 4x4 truck (real truck) projects? Definitely a fixer-upper but no doubt it can be done.

here it is . i had to stop, ran outta parts. need to replace a few screws, the zip ties are temporary, i need longer screws.
the black foot was missing one original spindle so i took a set i had and replaced the 2 that it had. ill have to put spacers on it.
if i use the body, ill get repainted. dont know wat im gonna do for tires yet. pics are just what ideas came to mind.the white rims are IMEX rims, i got some bruiser tires ill put on them , so theyll be dually mud tires. or i might just put on big monster truck tires, and use the frog body. (i got the other rim,its out in the truck, raining so im staying inside!)
notice the fancy front shock work... basically all i did was swap a few parts, and modified the front shock work.
tell me what you think its far from done, but sill get it done in a few days. enjoy
technically, all i did was swap some parts, and instead of using black foot front shock tower, i used the frog shocks and suspension. i think it would look cool with clod sized tires on them rims and the frog body.high torque servo and novack ESC, Green machine motor... be a pretty cool ride

almost done! just gotta put on some tie rods, and put in a motor and esc, strip the body and repaint it. i need some new tires in the rear, probably just buy 8 new tires, i got 5 tires that i had for a bruiser. also got to swap the steering servo for a high torque servo. Let me know what you think.

That is a beast Matt. Do you think it will move those tires? LOL

i hope it does! just gotta get some LONG tie rods and links to adjust the camber. also need a high torque servo for the wheels, i got a teking rebel ESC , not for sure what motor yet, i got a couple of them motors with them timing marks i might use. the rims and tires might come off and go on this other build im working on. got a losi frame, mixed with associated,Tamiya, Traxxas. will post up some pics of it later. check BST later on today for more Junk ill be posting

I think you need more tires. It's an interesting setup ya got there. The good part is that I bet it's tough to flip over.

its hard to tip over, but it pops a wheely and sometimes flips over. might just end up putting on different rims and tires, convert it to a bug or a poor man's f150. i need them rims for another project, and ill be replacing all 8 that are on the rims.
also steering for this think is a pain, i broke 2 servo arms and a couple tie rod ends.
