Back in Black Frog

Post by transamman908 »

The Frog was one of my first real rc's and i still can't get enough of these things. I decided to do one with a used black king blackfoot frame i got in a parts pile, along with some old school hop ups like a thorp diff, parma shocks and nerfs, crp chassis support and other odds n ends. I don't know if i like the wheel choice but it's starting to grow on me....

Man, I love it. All those cool old hop-ups. Not a fan of the spinners but that's cool. 8)

Nice work amassing that collection of parts! Green with envy   Seems like it was much easier to do a few years back than it is today!

Oh that's brilliant! Never had a Frog, but my first real RC was a Blackfoot. Frog on steroids. I actually like those wheels. Wait 'til it's built completely then decide. You may like 'em. I remember always having to replace those dog bones. Wish I had a Thorp as you do now. That buggy is going to kick butt and take some names!

I'm a big fan of those rear and front shocks... 8) . Were they period hop-ups for the Frog?

Yes , they were made by parma. I tried finding a neon hose to match the rear but no go for now :)
