Mrlex going off the radar due to work

Post by mrlexan »

Just an FYI, that certain government agency got off their arses and released what they said they would this morning at 0805. I AM STILL GOING to the V-nats, I told my boss that was not negotiable. My point, over the next 30 days, until Oct 7, I will be out of pocket for most of the day. I will try to read up at night as much as I can. So, if someone PMs me and I don't get back to you right away, don't take it personally or that I am being irresponsible, it's just long hours at work are taking their toll.

I did get the 10T and Mirage projects done last night and I will use the weekend, at some point, to take care of the IoUs or those that PMed me.

Also, for some reason, as of this morning I am not getting 10talk emailed with post changes or PMs.... not sure what happened.

Talk to you at night and see you guys at the Nationals.

Jay

I responded to all the PMs that have come my way recently. If I missed someone, please let me know. Those that I have traded with in the past few days to a week, your stuff with go out this weekend.

Looks like I will only get one day off this planned four day weekend.

Update for all those with current trades. Everything is packed up and will go out either tomorrow (with the automated machine for domestic) or Tues for international. For international folks, tomorrow is a holiday..... but I will still be working. Spent most of the day with the wife today, needed to remind her that she has my ulimate priority (and I love her) and keep her happy.

I should be on my normal schedule after Oct 7 give or take a week, unless that certain government agency decides to push out their completion date on our proposal and demo. I will have to go to the Northeast for the demo but that date is TBD, but not later than 60 days from Oct 7.

But yes, please get off your buttocks. :P

For those I owe PMs to, I'll get back to you this weekend. Been on 13+ hours per day all this week, basically put my time in for the week today, so the next two full days are time I technically don't get paid for (just get paid 40 hours). And I've had one day off in the past three weeks.

It sounds like you may need a day or two off... in beautiful downtown Waterbury, CT.

Just do what I do during busy times and keep repeating to yourself:
"One day all this hard work will pay off."
"One day all this hard work will pay off."
I mean sure, you'll eventually go insane like I have, but luckily Anheuser-Busch makes a miracle tonic that keeps the random killings to a minimum.

This is turning out to be another hellaish week. Long day and night yesterday, I haven't been able to do much checking on the forum. I received a couple of PMs and I will get to the requests, but please give to the weekend. After getting home last night, I just crashed.
