Will These Wheels fit? AYK/Kyosho

I know these are for a scorpion/tomahawk etc..

Question is... basically lol...

I know the paragu fronts are 1.9 (as is original)

What size are the rears? will 1.5 tires work? will 1.6 tires work?

i have some nice 1.5" aj's knobbie wheels i would like to use, the 9721's

My question is finally, will these wheels mount on a ayk buffalo properly?

WoW! they do look nice looks like he's got Optima sand super spikes on the rear they were 1.6 i believe . I don't think I could afford it though.

Nope.
Scorpion/Tomahawk rear tires aren't TOTALLY the same diam as the Optima (original) ones.
Their diam is smaller.
I've seen some people fitting turbo scorpion tires on optima wheels but they were very tight (too tight, they will crack soon).

I think I have the answer you are looking for. I have a Ayk Buffalo w/ Kyosho Assault / Beetle wheels which are the same pattern as Tomahawk , Beetle, Scorpions. They fit up perfectly and the rear drive nut that "bites" the rear rim is the same on a Ayk & Scorpion. So they should fit fine as they fit on my buggy without any problems. As for the rear tire any 1.5 should work, even seen a hornet tire mounted before. Actually a good tire to use as a runner because there cheap and easily available.

sk7, that is a nice mismatch of parts there, Optima body, Assault wheels, AYK chassis.

BTW, I need a tranny for one of those.

It actually is a little bit of a mismatch of parts, but for this build I didn't want to put back on the standard rims. I just happen to have nib Assault rims and they fit perfect. I like the look of the front five spoke wheel. I just transferred over the ayk tires. Then used a optima body and the bright colors seem to go well together.
