So getting back on topic...
Are any of you planning on adding big bores to your cars?

I'm struggling with keeping myself from adding them since I have a new spare set. I do like the shocks it comes with though so I might just keep it stock for a little while except for some titanium turnbuckles and some JCONCEPTS goodies.

cant justify $100 buks for big bores,, planning on getting a B5 (add $100) then later use the BB on the worlds.

I had a set of V2's for the car Ive been piecing together, glad I never bought the big bores cause now I have V2 spares.
I'm sure big bores will end up on it sometime though.

That makes sense!
I was almost thinking it was because they were boring to build.

The big bores are 12mm while the V2's are 10 or 11 (can't remember exactly). They seem to make the largest difference when landing off of jumps.

More cushion for the pushin'
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

yeah, I believe 12mm and 10mm. the difference boils down to giving you a little finer adjustment range for a given spring and damping oil due to higher volume of oil/larger piston and larger diameter spring.

You might be able to do the middle option and just run the V2 shocks with big bore springs, though I wonder if the springs will be too long for the shorter .71 front shocks (those are B4 shocks in the picture).

I second this question!
Or should we continue to horde any T2 3 degree mounts we can find?
