I've started trying to get my head around everything I need...

Question:
what is the correct length button head screw for steering arms?
B44 are 4-40 x 7/16, I'm guessing the ten-4 ones need to be longer since the steering arms are oversized compared to the B44.

I used 9/16, but stock should work if you already have them. I went as long as I could go

Hi, here is my Ten-4, I've just finished the body with the same scheme as my RC10OIN, I will run it very soon, probably next week if the weather is good enough.





The only modifications I made since I bought it, is to install oilite bushings in the steering (too much slop with the ball bearings) and to get rid of the printed rear bulkhead (really don't like the look of 3d parts).
It took me a long time to adapt a rere bulkhead, but I'm very happy with the result.

That look great! Nice work! Originally we wanted to reuse the stock bulkhead but people these days are much less willing to modify parts. I was never a fan of how MIP had you glue the idler onto the bulkhead. Yours looks very secure

First test today, the track is very dusty and very bumpy. The car runs very nicely, it turns way better than my Turbo Optima. The only two issues I had, is that the chassis itself is not rigid enough to maintain a good belt tension (you car hear the beld jumping under breaking, and in the bumpy sections), and the 3d parts of the steering have way too much slop, even with the tighter bronze bushings.

The belt skipping under braking is something I have noticed as well. The A&L chassis braces should help keep it tight but I think we will still see a bit of belt skip simply due to all the braking power up front. A one way front would be awesome but we haven't been able to explore that yet.

an option for the Optimas way back was a one way front diff. I had one in mine, worked great. It's a big wheel though, and wouldn't fit into your housing though.

Do you think it could be harmful for the belt or The pulley ?
I may just reduce the braking power.
Do you think it is possible to make tigher 3d parts for the steering?
