Hi,
I wish I had old photos like you have.
Very cool!

I once started with a Hotshot and I still have that car.
I will always have a soft spot for the Hotshot and got really inspired by your build.
Might have to get a re-re and build something crazy. :)

Is that chassis available from Factory Works?

Jeff at Factory Works has the plans for the chassis , there was a tweak to do before making more but I'm sure he'd be happy to make a set for you , just PM him , he's GoMachV on this forum .

I finally got a small break in the rain today so I took her out for a quick squirt up-n-down the road :D pretty pleased with her , holds nice and straight at speed , slight under steer if you apply gentle inputs but if you throw it into a corner it turns on a sixpence ! Handling is most comparable to the PB Mini Mustang but with noticeably more drag in the transmition . I ran it with the Demon 16x2 with 15 tooth pinion on NIMH and the motor was still no more than warm after 5 min , the Novak Super Rooster is as smooth as silk ! Really probably the smoothest control of any brushed ESC I have ever used !

Probably not with his FF being modern brushless powered but I'm quite bloody minded so it'd be closer than you'd bet on !

Painted the body today :( absolute disaster , poor choice of colours and tried and failed at a new masking technique , really dreadful ,not sure if I'm ever going to show it  I literally just ordered another in disgust !

Hmmm might have rescued it just enough to use as a runner body but I'm still doing another .

Paint it on the outside with flat black. Stealth Hotshot with a nice A.S.S. 😁
