I'm digging those aluminum arms, wish I had a few sets of those front arms! I did manage to score a set of those gold alloy kingpins recently, though.RC10Eh wrote:A couple of classic "HK onroads ".
Two speed goodness and lots of little bits you just don't see that often .

Now that's awesome.
I wanted to fit a PB 2 speed in my Mid back in 87. I thought it could be done with a new lay shaft being turned up and locating the shocks a bit further out. Was so close in doing it but the 2 speed was $100 alone. I didn't go any further as I was earning only $90 a week.
I wish i did though.

Very cool cars here. I've seen plenty of lowered buggies with on-road tires (and done it myself more than once), but I didn't know it had once been a whole "scene." Great pictures, and interesting history.

In sweden during the winter back in the days we raced buggies with saloon bodies stock motors on foams tires indoors on carpet and it was fun and its very hard to get tangled up due to the big body.
I used to race an modified ultima with an pink 911 flatnose i won the "new years race" with that car and the guy that came second came bye and adjusted my house antenna some 12 years later i just had to get the troophy out and rub it in his face ...ha ha ha
Still have the paper with names and places
