One of the rear hubs had aa bent washer and a little trash binding it up. Diff seems to be working good now.

Yea there is usually some un-fudging you have to do with used cars. But once you get them squared away it's fun.

I bought a Flysky gt3b , and right now I am hating it. It doesn't have much steering trim adjustment , so I tried adjusting the servo arm to get a decent center. No luck. Swapped a longer arm on, no luck.
I'm wishing I had stayed with a transmitter that had normal adjustment knobs and not a small range of movement, probably due to the use of a digital screen.

Anyone want to buy a new TX/rx?

I have that radio and it works great. No problem adjusting the trim here. Though I do agree I like a knob better.

I don't need to edit or delete it. Read the rules and keep it off the boards and I wouldn't have had to delete or edit it to begin with.

I finally got the arm and linkage adjusted so that with almost all of the controller adjustment to the left dialed in, the car goes straight. Wouldn't you know it, the long arm doesn't fit under the body.

Is there a way to get more trim adjustment? This setup worked fine with two other controllers. I'm thinking I'll go back to the short arm and build another rod/end setup with more adjustment.

I just trimmed it a LOT. I went in increments of 5.

Max is 30. I'm at 20 plus in either direction, depending on where I set the servo arm. A little more trim would be perfect.

Put the short arm back in adjusted everything, got it right. Went through the transmission, rebuilt the diff, installed the b4 top shaft and slipper. Did some more tinkering on the suspension, made sure everything was good and threw a 2s in it.

This car is faster than I thought and handles pretty good. My oldest daughter is going to pilot this one, so I'm crossing my fingers.

Toned it down with a 20t brushed motor so she can learn how to drive it. I had to dremel out the opening in the motor plate to fit the brushed motor.

She is pretty happy with it so far, although it was a bit much to handle and hard on the differential.

I stuck a low pinion gear on the 20t motor and with a 2S lipo it will wheelie from a stop and run a nice calm top speed. Perfect for a lot fun without too much risk.
