Re: Gomachv's 4wd RC10 project- IT RUNS (but still unnamed)
As I mentioned before in another post, there are only a handful of pieces needed, a couple dremel cuts, and the rest should be available very soon from associated (trans). I'm looking forward to the next build

I hit the curb quite a few times, it climbed right up it! Lol. It glitched out of control into the neighbors yard once, and I flipped it in the gravel and popped off a ball joint. Oh yes, it was tested. I just didn't video my stupidity lol!

I've never liked that design personally
it flexes the nose, albeit not much but it just seems awkward to make an adjustment that way.
My plan won't use a pulley, I just don't know if I have enough room. It will not be on this one, it will be on the next. It would take a lot of redoing on this one and I'm waiting for a piece I'm having made

For the sake of eBay I'm leaning towards "same as MIP 4-10 legend" lmfao
Or Miley. But who's gonna be searching for "Miley"? Lol
I am really excited to start the V2 after running this one.

How about the RC10 Mach IV. It alludes to the creator, or at least his alter ego/screen id.gomachv wrote:For the sake of eBay I'm leaning towards "same as MIP 4-10 legend" lmfao![]()

And your next one can be the Mach IV2?

Re: Gomachv's 4wd RC10 project- IT RUNS (but still unnamed)
I found a body in my box-O-bodies so I decided to mount it up. It's a TBG mirage and I see what you guys mean, what a horrid fit. Still, it actually fits pretty decent considering, the front has to come up just a bit to clear the trans, and I did make a slot for the trans to poke thru even though it doesn't really need it after all. With a proper fitting body it would clear and look good

looks pretty wicked, names that come to mind are Doppleganger or Twinstealth. An idea for belt tensioner could be like the Kyosho slingshot or a bearing mounted on an off-centered shaft cam style like a timing belt tensioner in a 1/1 car. A thouhgt comes to mind to that a oneway in the front diff or on the drivepulley might allow offset tire size. just a few ideas. I love the fact that your commiting ultimate sin by using kyosho parts on an associated car. I look forward to seenig its progress.
