If you can find a short sex bolt (internal thread), that would probably look good as well. But the screw would have to be the exact length.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

All of clear gear case covers that I made, I just used a washer and nut. In the grand scheme of things, you are not really going to notice them anyways.

Biggest thing at a quick glance is that the gear mesh is good.

Finally built up a clod to race with and raced with the MMRC yesterday. The 17 turns were not keeping up well in the pro-mod setup. I had a ton of fun though.

Had an old original Clodtalk decal so I had to add it!

This has been years in the works. I bought 3 cars, all complete, but in rough cosmetic shape. They had been for the most part stored in the open, and very dusty, grungy. All had been run very little, and at least 1 had been run like once or twice by...

Every once in a while someone will answer my CL wanted ad and I'll end up with a piece like this...

A new built, never run Super Clod Buster for $60. They never even installed electronics in this thing. I've never owned a Clod or even driven one...

Thanks fellas. Well now I've decided to keep it mostly stock and have abandoned the 4 link mod. I did find some axle support on the bay.

Bout to wire up these motors and my 610-RV which should be perfect for the Clod.
