If you can find a short sex bolt (internal thread), that would probably look good as well. But the screw would have to be the exact length.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

All of clear gear case covers that I made, I just used a washer and nut. In the grand scheme of things, you are not really going to notice them anyways. :D Biggest thing at a quick glance is that the gear mesh is good.
