Yeah I'm a bit torn bc I want to use the metal Barts arms but also want to put that 10-T nose to good use.
Was thinking about getting Klein / Dynotech arms for front and making the "worlds" front end - then maybe dye the arms forest green, spray them matte green and maybe do some lighter camo stripes.
It rolls. Will be tough not to want to run this...but I think I will shelf this one and build the other tan chassis into a WOIN runner. I went with the Lunsford titanium buckles for now but might switch them to the straight black.
All I can say is WOW! That looks amazing.. the thought put into this is great! I say stick to the front tower as is.. put the jg stuff on the other car.. run this one at least once though and get some pic of it running.. after you paint up a worthy shell for it.. either way well done.. now one of my favorite builds of an rc10..
OK, so I'm backing up all my photos today which is a real chore considering I am a proud father and a family man at heart. Couple that with the fact that I literally believe a picture is worth a thousand words so post as many pics as possible. :D...
So I just moved across the country from Massachusetts to Oregon. While we were packing up the house back east, I ran across my old RC-10 and decided to throw it on the moving truck figuring I'd give it to my boys someday. So here we...

I've got some more Kyosho parts that I need a little help identifying, any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!
The Optima Mid differential is missing an outdrive that would have a hex male end that mates with a hex recess in the differential. Is this...
It's been bugging me for the last 30 years or so, maybe you vintage gurus can help me find peace of mind.
When I was 13-14ish (which was 35 years ago) I remember seeing a tub chassis buggy at the hobby shop and I have never seen it again since. The...

If I remeber well it is a 1/12th model which explains why it is not commonly known. There's also a truck version. I discovered this when I lived in Japan and was torn over the...
I first caught glimpse of the JrX2 in 1988 at the age of 13 when a kid roughly my age was running one up and down the street at my aunt's home. I was familiar with R/C at the time having received my first hobby grade vehicle in '86 as a Christmas...

I am pretty sure I have some NIP bellcranks. Hit me up with a PM and I am sure we can work something out.
They made it all the way out to Okinawa Japan today :) And there were even a couple bonus items; thanks a bunch!
Hello All, I have recently acquired a KO EX 11 Presto. It seems to have a problem. Every time I switch it on I get a memory error. Though I can get the radio to function by pressing the + and - buttons at the same time. It seems that some of the...

I took the radio apart and this model has no battery back up. The model memory half works. Every time I turn on the radio I get a memory error that I can turn off. The funny thing is that the setting are still there. I can change things and turn off...
I swear I remember a small 2 speed tranny that was round, about the size of a 540 motor can cut in half, and it bolted directly to the motor where the motors shaft would insert into 2 speed. The 2 speed had a 1/8 shaft to mount pinion onto. It was...

Pair one of those with an HPI 2-speed top shaft and how many speeds could you hypothetically get. ;)
