Yah, Ill likely go with anodizing.

SO- I finally had some time to play with this again tonight. I took all of the metal out of it to prep it for a nice soak. I was pretty impressed with the overall condition of all of these parts. I was especially impressed with how well the tranny spins. I was then double impressed when i opened it up. WHOLEY cow they dont make em like they used to, I guess. Everything in this tranny save for the exposed parts of the outdrives looks brand new. Every bearing in this tranny spins as if new. I think I hit the jackpot with this truck.

I also did end up asking the Ebay seller for some history on this kit and it is confirmed, it was built by him and driven very little. It is completely original and even had the original springs in the box! Nothing has ever broke on this truck so it is all "Matching" parts.

Here are some pics of the parts. I was originally thinking of taking the outdrives with me when I blast the chassis- but I think I should just try steel wool first.
I will clean the parts of with some degreaser before I peroxide bathe them. Maybe simple green will do as nice to these as they did on my XX parts.

Those white parts will come up great with hydrogen peroxide.
I use Duplicolor satin black on AE chassis, it looks so close to anodizing.
I wanted a 10T so bad, when I was a kid!
Just as well I finally have one. :D
