I love it too, but ain't it from Big Boys Toys? I would like to add a realistic driver figure and have thought about the "Wild Willy" driver or the Sand Scorcher driver, any other proposal? I may try to fit some lexan parts on the sides (maybe from inside to not hide the tubes?) and a cool netting should also do the trick 8) if anyone has a nice looking driver figure for sale, please let me know

It was just an option to go graphite, main problem with polishing the one I have is that it has been painted, I'm already tired only with thinking of the sandpaper job

Why not use a chemical paint stripper to get most of it off and then start with the sandpaper?

That's an option, but I hate to work with chemicals, though I work in cosmetics now :P I may try to cut a new chassis for her, we'll see...

Here is the nude roll cage after stripping it all down

The more I look at this buggy, the more I wish I bid on it.

Yep, it was a bit hefty, but hell, nobody will ever come accross the same I guess and I haven't the spare time nor the skills to build it myself...

Dip that chassis in brake fluid. No sand paper needed.

I still don't know where I'm going with this one, but I made a quick mock-up today, all black parts, andy's A-arms and black 6-gear tranny fitted with a heatsink,
what do you think? I was wondering if gold shocks should not be better than the teflon ones... also thought to go white, still hesitating :?

Definitely go with gold shocks. Gold and red screams old school, plus you've already got the gold on your exhaust tip. Looking good. 8)

I have to side with Jim, I am feeling the same way now. Good call David, it is really nice.
