Graphite got a new shell

Post by Daddeo »

I painted a Viper up yesterday using some rattle cans. I'm not too sure about it, what do you think?

Now it needs a bright contrasting thin color pin stripe (or just black) on all of your color breaks - I think that will pull it together.

That's what I was thinking the more I looked at it. I might try to do some line breaks but not really sure if I'll do anymore to it since I painted this with the last of my rattle cans (had to get rid of them per the wife). Thanks for the input.

Get some tape pinstripe from an autoparts or hobby store and stripe it on the outside of the body over your color breaks.

Yeah, I have plenty of thin pin stripe tape but not really sure if I want to put anymore into this body. It will just be sitting on a shelfer anyways, not my graphite though ;).

My 2 cents: At least pinstripe the silver. I might go with black, or a really bright red.

I have some really bright red, wonder how that would look. Maybe just a plain white stripe...
I wanted to shoot some shadow effects around the silver but did not have enough paint for my AB to do that. I just got into a rush after starting it, that's why it looks the way it does  .
Thanks for all the input guys!

C'mon Daddeo,
Just give me 10 minutes and put a bright orange stripe on all the breaks!
Waiting patiently

I will soon, just too busy at the moment to dig out my tape. Maybe later today I can get some time to find my tape and do it up ;).
