Can anyone ID this ESC

This ESC came with a basket case RC10 I bought..at first I thought it might of been home made now I'm not so sure...any ideas guys?

the case is definately a home brew. i don't know what make the esc is, though.

is there any writing on the board? many novaks have some on the bottom, see here:

The chip in the middle has the same id numbers as the one in an old tekin I have here, but your chip goes side to side and mine is up and down. Both have the 2 adjusters on the left in the same orientation, so it is probably a Tekin.

Do the motor/battery wires have any writing on them?

No writing on the wires and there is a plastic sheet glued to the bottom...oh well it appears as if it's nothing special so in the trash it goes...

Looks kinda like a Victor Engineering ESC.

the heatsink looks like that, but those ESC's have wires that come out on both sides (left and right)

It's got to be an early esc, due to the controller chip, the NE544, it's a servo controller. Alot of the DIY controllers used it with a modified circuit to make it an esc controller. They are obsolete, and it wouldn't surprise me if the first esc offerings used it as the basic architecture.

it looks professional enough that it was probably company made, vs DIY.

if it works, it's certainly worth keeping around, even for a trade or something. If you can get the part number of the FET's, you can probably determine how much power it can dissipate and can figure out how hot a motor it can handle.
