help!! 2.19 trans with a 2speed

i have a losi junior2 with a 2.19 trans and a 2 speed (i think) heres a pic.. the gear in the pic is on a 1 way bearing and the end piece is held on with a set screw the dark line in it is a single spring loaded arm kinda like a gas engine clutch but reversed like its ment to catch on to something at high rpms..any info on what this is, who makes it, and what i need to complete it would be great.. if someone could tell me the four 48 pitch gears that mesh properly together in a 2 speed that would be a big help too..and the wider the ratio the better(i kinda would like to set it up like a car starting out in 2nd gear then shifting into 4th)

That is probably the HPI 2-speed setup. I've never owned one nor seen one in person, so I cannot tell you much about themother than to avoid running in reverse as it will kill the one-way bearing.
I've seen some on builds here, so someone is bound to have a copy of the instructions/part list.

I have one and all I can tell you from that blurry pic is that it doesn't look like an HPI 2-speed set-up. I can upload the instructions if you like and post some pics of mine. Maybe you could take it off and post an exploded view of the parts so that we could better figure it out?

i could not find info on mip but i think its a hpi cause hpi made a shaft for losi trans...sadly i cant find just the parts i need..im jobless now and its looking like this project is going to cost more then i want to spend ...i may just have to add it to the pile of "maybe one day ill get to it"projects

mrlexan has a 2 hpi 2 speed on this losi. it's different than what's on your car.

thanks for the help and the pics... now im not trying to say im right and everyone else is wrong..(ive been wrong many times before)i have not seen pics of any others (mip)but this pic of an hpi 2speed makes me think its a hpi even more.. i have the first speed gear all there and as for the second speed im missing the gear and,it looks to me like i have the inner /center metal piece that holds on to the shaft and im missing the outer metal piece that holds on to the 2nd speed gear ...if i had a pic of an part numbered exploded view i could explain it better with what parts im missing but for now i just have the pics scr8p sent me and my camera phone that takes bad pics..sorry ...

I have an HPI two-speed for an RC10 w/stealth, and if yours is indeed an HPI two-speed, it looks like the alloy piece is on backwards...could you remove it and post up a new (hopefully less blurry) pic afterward?

The HPI two-speed for the RC10 w/stealth uses standard stealth spur gears, but the pinion is a proprietary HPI part.

Looks like hpi just missing the other aluminum outer part that fits over that one and agree its on backwards probably for a turned around tranny and its missin the other spur gear is my guess.Don

Believe me guys, they are not the same, although it could have been made by HPI as well. The main difference relies in the fact the the one from longboardjn has a big slot in the round alu part which is not present at all in the one that is showed on Jay's car. I'll try to scan my instruction this week-end and take an exploded shot of the parts.

they look the same to me? the outer spur gear is missing and the outer alum sleeve is missing?
