Re: yz10 belt
Belts have standard pitch as long you can get teeth count and pitch you will be able to get belts from 3part manufacturer as i did with lazer belts.

Re: yz10 belt
In theory, the length of 1 tooth is about 3mm long. This shouldn't be too much of a difference especially if you're using a tensioner on the front. As for the rear, I don't think you can adjust the tension on an 870c...unless you have the rpm rear bulkhead.dubfreak wrote:i was wondering if anyone had try to fit some other rc belt on a yz10 870c seens the front one is not avalable anymore it as 168 tooths and the rear one has 64 tooths i found that hot bodies have a 3mm 169t and m3 63t or does anyone have tryed somthing els thanks

The prices seem pretty resonable for those parts...so the risk isn't too bad.

Re: yz10 belt
i do have the rear rpm difcase with adjustment will have to try them and let you know how they fit for the front one i thogh that if it was to long i could use 2 tensioner to tighten them let me know what you think of it.
does someone know where i could find more belts with the spec of them?
thanks frank

Re: yz10 belt
You might get away with the one tooth longer for the front and one tooth less for the rear quite easy: isn't your motor mount fixed to the chassis on long holes?
Otherwise, change the height of the tensioner, move it or add a second one.
The hotdog had 2 tensioners also; to guide the belt over the transverse mounted stickpack

Re: yz10 belt
oops, you're right.
It's the rear bulkheads position that can be adjusted on some chassis for the correct tension on the rear belt
