Re: 6 gear part#6627 ??any replacement??
...the point is ive googled (part# rc10) to look for parts cheaper then the hobby shop i order from and some times my hobby shop does not show up on google.the point of the post was to see if maybe the hobby shop someone here uses has them in stock and does not show on google ...plus some of the ae parts have replacements /other uses, like 2.25 stealth top shaft is the same part#6571 as rc10 gt and have found "rc10 gt topshaft" alot cheaper listed then "6571 rc10"

Anybody know the dimensions of the thrust bearing?
http://www.avidrc.com/product/13/thrust-bearings/
has different sizes and they are pretty cheap - not sure of the size though - what was the original OD of the 6-gear drive shaft?

Re: 6 gear part#6627 ??any replacement??
I measured - 3/16" OD on the drive shaft - 7/16" OD on the spur gear which is 4.8 mm x 11.1 mm x thickness who knows?
I need one too so I ordered a 5 x 11 x 4 - see if it fits...
Update - appears I measured the wrong end of the drive shaft - the shaft is actually 1/8" (~3.2mm) - so 5 mm is too big however I had some extra 3/16" spacers and put those inside the outer washers of the bearing - the original lined up on the spur gear bushing anyway -so really it only affects one side of the thrust bearing. Other than that it appears to line up and and the 11mm OD is just right. Not sure any of the avidrc size combinations would fit perfect - the 3x8x3.5 may fit the shaft without the spacers/bushings but who knows.

Does anybody know the size of the bearing that goes on the diff tube in the 6-gear - I got a 1/4" x 3/8" flanged but it appears not to go all the way up the diff tube shaft - it leaves about a 1/4"+ gap - this right?
