Front damper stay

Post by Brat »

Hi guys, any ideas if there's a possibility to purchase the white translucent damper stay for RC10 with gold chassis? Or maybe the carbon fiber type. Please advise. I'm unable to locate any in Singapore.

Those parts (6 mounting holes each side) are for the RC10CE, if you have the older narrow arms version, you have to found the 2 holes version on ebay.

Hmmm...mines a little diff. Its without the curvature at the top. Mines like '11' instead of 'U'. Hope you get what I mean.

The original <6010 tower is not available from Associated anymore.

qctires has this, you might PM him:

I believe the other part you want is the steering knuckle. There are a few different types, offset axle (kingpin goes in front of the axle), inline axle, aluminum inline axle (kingpin goes through the axle).

Yeah thats right! So, which would you recommend? Is it still available? Or should I just modify the chasiss to adapt B4 parts, including the swing arms etc? The problem with AE is that we do not have much parts support here...other than that, I find their products to be top notch!Any recommendation will be greatly appreciated!!!Hope to restore my rc10 within a month.

Both steering blocks (inline or trailing axle) are still available at Tower Hobbies but only in the new stiffer black plastic.

How about changing the arms downward to the longer version I think WE has? Is it possible? Is it cost effective and does the performance improved?
