That is the one tire that I am not sure about. It does have a cool look to it. That set came on a BBT sprint I bought awhile back.

I can say that finding realistic/scale looking tires for sprint cars has been exhausting and expensive. I would love to time travel back to 1988 and be able to walk into a hobby store and buy whatever Advanced stuff I wanted. The advanced tires and wheels are what were on shown on the sprints I wanted BITD. For some reason they are very hard to find and the tires are even worse. I am getting to close to having what I need to start the builds I have been planning. I will try and get some build threads going once I get the rest of the parts bought.

Pete, best of luck with the tire search. If I find anything or have leftovers I will let you know for sure.

Cheers thanks I would appreciate that.. I have ended up with a selection of tires that are really of no use to me..then again I guess I could always build a car around those tires right?...now that would justify the expense wouldn't it?

Thanks
don't know what the second one in is but the first one is the Losi slider tire. For looks that second tire looks cool...kinda like a hoosier.

Ya, I thought it looked the most real. Anyone else know what it is?
Did they ever make staggered tires like on real sprint cars? Right rear taller than left rear?

Looks like the last few pics have pro-line waffle fronts. Do the custom works fronts not fit on the JD wheels? Both options look great.

Thanks guys for all of the positive encouragement there is still plenty to do but it's coming along nicely..in saying that it has cost me way more than I would have liked but if you want a certain look you have to be prepared to pay the bucks..

The Custom Works tires are a little loose..and need gluing to get them to sit right..might do it but it will be one of the last things I do....

Sure the rims are from http://www.rdent.com/sprint/sprintparts.html and the tires are Losi 1/10 Slider...
