It looks worse than it actually was. It was set up for carpet racing so the underside of the chassis was in good condition. The buggy sat in a box while I collected parts for it. Then one day at a hobby shop I came across a nice stash of parts. So began the restoration. I completely stripped it down and cleaned everything. I started reassembling and it didn't dawn on me to take some pics until i was about half built.

I used some of the old and many new OEM parts and hop ups from Delta, Hot trick and team losi.
While surfing ebay one day I was able to swoop up some Team Losi aluminum rims. When I got them they were dull so I made a chuck for my drill and spin polished them

I had the chassis all completed but didn't have a body. I found a nice new Dahms body but wanted a real RPS body. I found a New RPS body with custom paint by Andy's on ebay. The bidding was fierce so I threw in a hail mary bid in the last 10 seconds and won it for $150
It came out looking sweet
