Well, got the buggy up and running today. using a older spec motor,21/87 gears,older body with yellow rims! quick for a basher! heres a few pics:

got this from Redscampi a while back. pretty cool buggy. made in 1985, 24 years old!!
any way it had the rear blocks broke that hold the axle in place (the part where it pivots)
he glued it,then i got it, slightest movents would fracture the glue...

See if you can unscrew the steering gimble stick and spin in round.This is how I used to reverse the old Acoms radio back in the day.
Works for older futaba attack radios as well

For the cap seal I've used 13 mm OD 1mm thick O-ring. When tightening you first need to smear the o-ring with shock oil and not to overtight. For the bottom seals I used Traxxas 2362 kit. These were the shocks of my 1986 car, and I ran a full day...
