RC10 oval build (DONE)
My starting point is this composite craft oval chassis with a mcallister oval kit as you can see the problem is all the pink. I have a Dahms devistator body trc foams and a Andy's rear oval mount. Anyone know if they made the front oval bumper in white? If so i need one

Re: RC10 oval build
That is a sweet chassis. I'd give the nylon another dunk in the pink though. It's a sign of
the times(no Prince jokes please). Then put a body with "splashes" of paint on it.

Can't wait to see it finished. If you plan to run this chassis, I would love to get the details of your setup.

Re: RC10 oval build
I had a couple of them in white, but I think they are all gone now. I will look and let you know if I find one.

Re: RC10 oval build
if you get in pinch and need one, i have a used white front mount. it'll need some cleaning up, though. it'd be good enough until you can come up with a new one.

You are too kind sir i have a feeling i might have to take you up on that offer. Well back to working on the real cars i dont think the manager considers rc10talk work related research.

Re: RC10 oval build
I checked my files and that bumper is in my sold folder. So, that leads me to believe I no longer have any of them. I have been wrong before, but my files are pretty accurate for the most part. Take Scr8p up on the offer.

Re: RC10 oval build
I really like where you are headded with this car. I especially like the fact that more and more oval cars are being revived. I do have a few questions for you though. I have that same chassis on my modified and that same rear body mount, how ever I have been having a hard time finding replacement parts new or used. So my question to you is where at on mcallister are you getting these parts? Whee can I get the steering peices (the parts that bolt to the chassis)? Where can I find a rear bumper I had my paws on a couple and let them get away (d&^^n dial up) Last but not least whee did you get the tires and wheels that you have for this? Cant wait to see this one done.
Almost forgot a lil FYI to save you some hassle and possibly green if you have paint shop pro you could grab a template from a game and paint it the way you want to paint your car and see how it looks first then lay it on the body. I have that and photoshop and 3dmax and painting a template then throughing in max for a 3d look had helped me aton and has saved me from a couple costly paint mistakes. You can do it in ms paint but you will have to do a 2D and draw everything out.

Re: RC10 oval build
i don't think your really gonna like using the trc rims on a short arm rc10. the rear is gonna be much wider compared to the front. you'd be better off with a set of bolinks. just my $.02.
