any way to renew old dried up plastic parts??
i got a parts lot off ebay and the plastic parts seem very dried up and ready to crack. all the rod ends cracked when i took them off. i was going to clean them in boiling water then when they dried spray them with wd40. but i wanted to find out what people on here thought first..

If it's the white plastic off of an RC10, boiling them will make the nylon less brittle. Nylon absorbs water so boiling the parts will put a lot of the original "flex" back into them.
